Grand Theft Auto VI is set in Leonida, a fictional state inspired by Florida, with Vice City at its centre. This page tracks the locations Rockstar Games has actually confirmed.
Rockstar has not published the map. Everything known comes from trailer footage and official screenshots. The full-map images circulating online are community reconstructions built frame by frame: useful for a rough idea, but not official and known to contain errors.
That is why we place only what is certain. A map with a few confirmed places beats one full of invented ones.

How big is the map?
Rockstar Games has not published an official surface area, but it has given ratios. Rob Nelson, co-studio head at Rockstar North, put it this way during the press previews:

Those are ratios, not areas. Rockstar has given no figure in square miles: anyone offering you an exact measurement is estimating it from the trailers.
